Good vibes galore !

So it says in my blog that only 4 hours separate me from my luck... I CAN'T WAIT !!!

I think is high time I give you some of the good vibes I've been cumulating these past days so here we go :

To begin with, this is the logo I like the most right now :

As for yesterday, 15th of July, Paris has become a free city !!!!

Paris has put 10.000 bicycles for rent for 1 € a day (the first 30min are for free and then you pay 1 € for the next half hour, and then it gets expensier). It was high time if you ask me.

Being able to ride a bicycle in Paris is such an awesome thing people !!! Specially for those of us who are not really Parisians ! I discovered so much of the geography of the city just riding a bicycle yesterday and today ! and you can go wherever so fast ! I'm not taking the metro anymore (unless it's raining like today)...

I have to say that I kinda forgot that my bro lives in Montmartre, which is the highest point of Paris, so I had to pedal hard and fast to get to the top... and I finished soaked in sweat 'cause it was sooooo hot today (but I love heat so I'm not gonna complain, nor the neighbor that is watching me in my underwear typing this post, naaaah I'm kiding !!!)

And last, but not the least : PERSEPOLIS

So Persepolis...

Yeah, that movie rocks !!! The comics are awesome. I laughed and cried during the movie. I thought it was one of the best I've seen lately. Even better than Das Leben der Anderen... yeah... better...

I want so much to talk to Marjane Satrapi... ! I'm sure she has tons more of stories to tell... I hope she's gonna come with some more comics soon.

So much for sharing my good vibes for now... but I'm sure I'm gonne be producing much more the next days so don't feel deprived !

Boire du petit lait...

This is a French expression which means that you are enjoying your revenge.

And I reckon this is a very mean post... but I'm so overwhelmed by Sarkozy and his clique that you have to forgive me if for once I don't send good vibes with this one.

Un frère de Rachida Dati jugé en appel pour trafic de drogue

STRASBOURG (Reuters) - Jamal Dati, frère du garde des Sceaux Rachida Dati, sera jugé mardi devant la cour d'appel de Nancy avec trois autres prévenus pour un trafic de drogue, a-t-on appris de source judiciaire.

Il avait été condamné le 28 février dernier par le tribunal correctionnel de Verdun (Meuse) à six mois de prison avec sursis, le maximum des peines prononcé allant jusqu'à trois mois ferme pour certains des coprévenus, a déclaré à Reuters Jacques Nicolle, substitut général près la cour d'appel de Nancy.

L'affaire concernait un trafic de stupéfiants à dimension "locale".

"Le ministère public a considéré que compte tenu de son passé judiciaire, on devait voir les choses avec plus de rigueur", a précisé le magistrat.

Jamal Dati a déjà été condamné pour trafic de drogue à Chalon-sur-Saône, la ville où ont grandi les enfants Dati. La peine, prononcée il y a six ans, était de trois ans de prison dont 18 mois ferme selon le journal Le Parisien qui a révélé l'information vendredi.

"Jamal Dati has already been convicted for drug trafficking in Chalon, the city where the children Dati grew up. The sentence, pronounced six years ago, was of three years of prison of which 18 months for good".

Rachida Dati being the present Minister of Justice of Sarkozy...

a "protégée" of Sarkozy...

the one who made the law about the "three strikes and your out" to be voted against all the experts advice that it was only going to full up the already crumbling prisons of France for nothing because repression is not the best answer to prevent repetion of criminal offences as the USA is acknowledging it now...

but of course it was a demagogic law...

What I know is that her own blood is gonna bite the dust !!!

Unless... unless... some divine intervention happens...

Un autre frère de la garde des Sceaux fait l'objet d'une procédure judiciaire pour trafic de drogue.

Selon une source judicaire, Omar Dati, frère du garde des Sceaux Rachida Dati, fait l'objet d'une procédure pour trafic de stupéfiants en Saône-et-Loire, a-t-on appris vendredi 13 juillet.

Agé de 35 ans environ, Omar Dati est sous contrôle judiciaire depuis juin 2005. Il a été interpellé dans le cadre d'un trafic de cannabis dans la région chalonnaise, portant sur trafic de drogue de quelques centaines de grammes de résine de cannabis, un trafic de "moyenne importance", selon la source judiciaire.

Which means :

A second brother of Rachida Dati, the Justice Minister, is connected with drug trafficking.

Aged 35, Omar Dati is under judicial control since june 2005. He has been arrested because of a traffick of cannabis of some hundred grams, a traffick of "middle importance".

Now I'm thinking... this revelations are connected with the fact that three magistrates that were working with the Minister have resigned this past week ?

Hmmmm... ? Acaba.... Time will tell !
